Unscripting The Future Robert Iolini here, I make art music and movies. Together with creative producers Andrea Tivadar and Emi Morita we’ve created the ART e FACTs Film Series. The films are speculative and philosophical. A mix of drama, mystery and sci-fi. They feature female protagonists on quests in worlds not so different from our own. These women have unbounded curiosity and a desire to improve the lives of themselves and of those around them. How does creativity reshape the way we live? What happens when we challenge authority and reimagine power structures? Our characters grapple with and try to solve these real-world problems in often unorthodox ways. Their stories show how every problem, no matter how complex, can be solved with creativity, criticism, and the right knowledge. The thing is, the right knowledge is not so easy to come by. That’s where narrative tension comes into play. Like the characters in our movies, we took this optimistic approach from developing to producing our first film, ART e FACT. And it works! Luckily, we had enough knowledge to come up with a high concept story that we could produce with high quality on a micro budget with 14 actors across 14 Barcelona locations. We’re operating independently, developing a universe, one film at a time. We soft launched ART e FACT, the first movie in the series in January 2025. We’ve decided to distribute it exclusively from our website. It's a long game that we're happy to be playing.
